Happy Eight Months Sweet Pea!!!
Callie has been falling asleep in our laps, and cuddling more!
We headed to Miami, and Callie had her outfits picked out with matching accessories! This is how I remembered what we had! Oy!
We went to a lovely brunch with Grandpa and Uncle Rai- Peacock Garden Cafe in Coconut Grove

We headed to visit Great Grandma Carole!
Then, we visited Papa and Ita for the afternoon! They made a delicious Columbian meal!

Callie has started climbing up on to things, and pushing things! Below she pushed the Bumbo up to the couch, trying to get towards the dog.
Independent eater? Not yet. She thinks she can!

We visited Abuelo at his store!
Callie went to Salon Trio to deliver something my mom was selling- the ladies enjoyed Callie's visit and said she needs to be on the cover of Parents magazine...

Mama, Dada, Abuelo and Tio Rai, went to see Tio and Titi's new house, then ate at Shiver's BBQ, and then went to Robert Is Here for some shakes and slushies!

In the back, there is an awesome mini zoo of animals living together- we saw tortoise, chickens, goats, donkeys, ostrich, birds and more!

Callie is climbing up on to things, and standing a lot now. She will soon to be mobile, which is scary! We don't want to have to baby proof this rental and the new house if possible!

We went to Irma's Mom's house to celebrate! Their baby should arrive Tuesday! Callie is ready for a new friend!

Sleeping and cuddling again on Dada
Callie's first official night in her own room/crib overnight was July 6th! She did well. The monitor was awesome and this image was from an early wake from Mama, another tush in air pose.
Important dates this past month: June 23- Callie sat up from a laying down position
June 25- Callie pulled herself up for the first time on to Mama to look at her laptop
June 27- Callie's first sleepover while Mommy and Daddy went to a Marlin's Game. She spent the night away at Grandma's!
June 30- Stood up on own in the Mini at Toys R Us
July 4- First Independence Day/Fireworks- She did not cry at all.
July 5- Callie did the yoga pose of Downward Dog while trying to crawl
July 6- Callie made the sounds of "HI", also was resting on Mommy and Daddy with extra cuddles!
July 7- made the long a sound as well as the word sounding like "HEY"- today is Grandma's birthday!
Callie crawled 6 "steps" to get to Patch. Watch out! Granda arrives tomorrow to visit!
