WHERE IS THE TIME GOING?! 11 months is almost a whole year old. In just a blink of an eye, our precious pumpkin is growing up! I started filling out birthday invitations for Callie's "Miami" party... (she is having 2 parties!), and cannot believe that we are planning a first birthday!ALMOST ONE YEAR OLD?! Lots of exciting things have happened since her last update. Mommy and Daddy may be closing on a new home next week, so we don't even know where her Orlando birthday will be celebrated! Below are some highlights of things she learned or did before turning 11 months as well as after, with some pictures and videos to enjoy too.
Sept 15- Callie learned how to open and close her wipes case by herself. She is SO curious about how things open and close, as well as what sounds they make when banging them together! Callie also started on 8 ounce bottles, due to her increased appetite, FINALLY! Our munchkin is finally wearing SOME 6 months clothes!!! She still is wearing one NB pair of shorts, and only 3 months shorts fit well. The pants that fit, are more like capris, because this munchkin is petite.
Sept 16- random fever, went to After Hours, and no ear infection present.
Sept 20- Callie side-stepped all around our little blue square table in the main room.
Sept. 22- We visited Maritza and Christian in Beverly Hills, FL. My Dad and Step mom drove there to visit, and cooked a yummy meal!

Cousin Michael was playing with the girls... Callie likes him! Zavian was celebrating his birthday relaxing in the other room!
Sept 23- Callie walked on her walker for the first time alone (and super fast at that!).
Sept. 24- Callie took some steps at daycare, and later that night, she showed off her walking skills!
Sept 24- GI appointment to discuss her cow's milk protein allergy and retesting so I know if she can have a regular birthday cake, or need a Vegan one! Callie weighed 18 lbs this day, and is in the 50%ile for height, and 10-25%ile in weight. In a few weeks, she will be slowly trying 2% milk, (SO NERVOUS), and her specialist wrote a script for some allergy blood work for milk and soy. He is not worried about common allergies (nut, citrus, etc.) yet. The appointment is October 13!
Callie was a sguiggly worm at the GI...
Sept. 24- Callie tried and liked fish. Mmmm.
Sept 29- Callie said the /st/ sound for the first time. She repeated it over and over, like she does with all tricks before she stops doing them cold turkey (and stores them in her toolbox of her mind for random days).
September 30- Callie had a fever since the previous day, and then it reached 102.8... Mommy wondered if we will see more teeth soon, or if she has another ear infection?

October 1- Callie started doing this tongue twisting movement.
October 3- 11 months old today, and we found out she has a double ear infection... referral to the ENT was given, and she has her appt on the 19th to discuss tubes.
October 6- Callie held mama and dada's nose at the same time and giggled, she repeated this for a while!
October 6- Callie copied me and learned "clean up" and put items in her basket... (she suddenly forgot this though when asked again hahaha). This stage of mimicking is so much fun, as she can really imitate random things!
October 6- Callie was crawling on her play mat and hopped in to a plank position and hopped back to standing up. Ready to going bootcamp?
October 7- Callie dropped items and said "uh-oh" by herself. She is learning situational words and sounds now!
October 7- Callie signed for food... she puts her hand on her mouth, not cupping, but signaled for more food over and over in between bites!
October 7- Callie turned the frog toy on multiple times by herself by pressing the power button.
October 7- Callie started making a tongue clicking sound... I saw a daycare friend doing it the next day, I guess they are teaching each other fun things! Callie loves her daycare friends!
October 7- We surprised Abuelito and drove to Port St. Lucie to a park to celebrate his 60th birthday!
October 8- Callie had picture People do a picture day at daycare! Wonder how they turned out!
October 9- Callie tried and liked steak
October 10- Callie was talking in her sleep...
So, what ELSE is new? Callie has been attempting to climb on to the couch. Bedtime is SO much easier. She is sleeping a solid 12 hours, if we let her. Her balance is amazing! She squats down, stands up and repeats this over and over... She is still a wiggle worm, and will not stay still for long! I think she is a Mama's girl ;) (Don't tell Daddy)...
Grandma comes tomorrow to help watch Callie, so we can pack!!! We have her blood work appt while Daddy has his school picnic.
Just a few more random pics/videos from the past month...
