Since last month, here are some updates:
August 17- Daddy found out he was becoming an assistant principal!
August 18- Callie continually said the sounds "dada dada"
August 21- Dada was appointed Assistant Principal! Callie had a slumber party with our neighbor Camden. Camden and Callie are great buds now :)

August 22- Callie waved "byebye" on command
August 23- Callie apparently smacked another kid at daycare for trying to take one of her puffs.
August 24- Tio Rai and Titi Naty came to visit
August 26- Callie "makes nice" to the couch cushion, now she "makes nice" to us on command, then lays her head down on us!
August 27- first time glyericen suppository- not a good memory for us, but documented!
August 29- Table surfed three steps

Abuelito and Abuelita bought a new high chair for Callie's trips to Miami.

September 1- crawled up the stairs at Grandma's, did the "lawn mower", and slept in our bed in Miami after being up with a fever all night!
Mommy looked at her baby books and found her picture (bottom image), and held the picture up while Callie slept similarly!
September 2- second Miami fever and slept with us in the bed two nights...

We stopped at Great Grandma Carole's for breakfast on the way back to Orlando. Then we headed to Papa and Ita's house.

September 3- Callie went to an after-hours clinic after we got back in to Orlando, and we found out her fevers were because she had one impacted ear drum pre-infection stage, and an ear infection in the other ear! Callie was not fussy, still her happy self, so Callie went shoe shopping for her new daycare shoes "with grips", and she screamed bloody murder in the Stride Right store!!! The next day she started in the next room at daycare!!! Shoes required. She apparently has a "thing" for the twin boys in the new room, and follows them as well as scratches them.
September 5- Callie had another doctor appointment- followup on ear infection, and still needed to be on her Omnicef antibiotics. She is standing for SUCH a long time now on her own, and will stand up from a seated position!
Below, we went to Auntie RoRo's house to have dinner with Hank
Mama and Callie matched without knowing (Daddy had dressed Callie that day!).
September 9- Callie was reading (turning pages and looking) her Touch-N-Feel book pages in order by herself!
September 10- Mommy and Daddy had the inspection on the new house, we hope this goes through! Callie is going through her first OBVIOUS growth spurt currently, and is drinking over 30 ounces a day now, instead of 20-22 (as much as an 8 lb baby should be drinking, and she is 17, still in 3 months clothes!)
September 15- made Callie her first 8 ounce bottle and she downed it within an hour- amazing for her usual self!

Not sure if I posted before, but Callie turns off the lights as part of her nighttime routine...
Callie has been throwing things as part of her "new" learning gains, as well as standing up completely from a seated position!
Back to planning Callie's one year birthday! Next month she will be rescreened for her milk protein allergy, so we know how to proceed for ordering a cake: regular (maybe??) or vegan.
