Callie Victoria Ortiz is so HAPPY!

Some updates... Callie is helping Mommy by holding her bottle sometimes! She has been very alert as well. After she eats, we try to play for a little bit. We put the arc of toys on her "ghetto mobile" (a handmedown bouncer we originally hated lol)... She can track objects better now, and really focuses on Mommy and Daddy's faces! She is obsessed still with staring at the fan/light, and the large frames on the wall (depends on which direction we sit her to feed).

Below is the newer addition to the Ortiz Household! ANOTHER MINI! When Grandma/Abuelita Ada came to visit, she watched Callie for a day while we finished holiday shopping. We kinda bought more than what we planned. Kahlil traded in his VW for his 4th MINI. He got a 2009 Clubman that has a 3rd door, aka BABY ACCESSIBLE (why he had left the 2 door MINI for the VW.) Callie already attended her first MINI meet last night at Tommy Addison's (amazing food!)

Callie is a smiley baby! I LOVE HER. I make sure to tell her every single day how much I love her. I made a promise to tell her I love you every day. I think that is important!

CUTIE PATOOOOOTIE. I think that she looks like Mommy's baby picture here... but she has her moments when she looks like Daddy (his eyes!)

Callie used FaceTime on Daddy's iPhone to talk to Daddy's parents, her grandparents in Miami. Then the following day, Mommy's Mom (Grandma) FaceTimed too! TECHNOLOGY makes this experience awesome. (We even use an app for white noise sometimes!)

Her features are really becoming prominent! Her cheeks are growing (she is now taking 4 oz of formula every 3 hours, except at night, we stretch a 5 hour sleep time if she makes it, and usually that is followed by a 4 hours stretch for now). Her eyes are very bold! Here you can see some shiny residue from her medication (her clogged tear duct become a little infected- which apparently is common). Her lips are usually puckering out- Mommy's favorite face is when Callie is woken up to feed, she stretches her arms out and makes a puckered kissing face! Callie is also getting darker eyebrows!!! Her 'George Castanza' hair do is growing more as well. she has 'business in the front, party in the back" mullet going on still.

This is Callie staring at the large frames on the wall. She normally looks as if she is staring at her baby picture in the frame! She really is focusing well on things! Her neck is also SO strong! But, we knew this because on her first day of life she held her own neck up!

Patch is a little jealous, as he does not get the same attention as before. But, he loves Callie, and goes right to her when she makes a sound! He will be a great playmate soon!

Callie likes to sleep on Mommy. She is so cuddly! Mommy loves hearing her breath close to her!

Hi! Look at me grow!

One of Mommy's new favorite pictures of THE NEW AND IMPROVED HAPPY CALLIE!!!

Mommy hopes that soon Callie will not have to be on her medications anymore. The zantac REALLY is working, but Mommy hates seeing the "EW- THIS IS NASTY" face that Callie makes when we administer it via the syringe!

Mommy pulled out the Einstein Play Mat that Tio Gustavito and Tia Mari bought Callie, and plan to introduce it soon!

Callie made a handprint ornament that is hanging on our Chanukkah-colored Christmas tree! :) Excited to celebrate more holidays with our little pumpkin!

Stay tuned...
